KPMs - Key Events selection

The basic version of Zengain uses event data from your application to rank and provide engagement scores for your end users, aggregated up to a "company" (account level). Admins define an Key Product Milestone by selecting five events from the events database for a given product.

For each module, there are Key Product Milestones from collected events.

“Key Product Milestone” (KPM): An event a user has selected to profile a successful product user properly. For instance, the Miro admin might say the five events are: log in, create a board, share a board, and leave a comment.

Selecting a key event

Navigate to the Key Product Milestones section.

Assuming events are being captured into Zengain, you can start to select them and attach them to a "module," i.e., Acquire, adopt, etc.

  • Choose events that are meaningful to your customer journey. These can be any type of event you can see in the collected list in the dropdown menu that makes sense to highlight in Zengain. We will still collect the other events.

  • You can select up to five per module, and the UI will highlight these.

  • To test, these are now being collected at a contact level. Navigate to a contact and check their "activities log" page.

As you can see, the KPIs for Acquire are set as:

These match the data highlighted at a contact level in their activity log.
