The Dashboard

The Zengain dashboard provides a convenient overview of your account. Each widget can be clicked to reveal further dashboards for each module.

The main dashboard displays the insights engine, which contains date-ordered company data showing customers at various stages of their lifecycle, from trials to end-of-life.

The insights are broken down by timeline, then by the Zengain module, and then by Company. The module icons are shown here.

Dashboard explained

My Customers only toggle

The toggle simply filters by all customers or the customers you "own" in the customer record - allowing you to focus on just your own clients or to view everyone.

  • My Customers' only toggle switched on

    • The user sees insights about the customers they own. Depending on the type of owner, he will see information about the specific Zengain Module.

    • In the Modules on the list, they will see the Customers they own.

  • My Customers' only toggle switched off

    • This changes the view to show me information about all customers in the system.

    • The user sees all insights and all customers in the modules.

    • This is useful for managers or other team members not assigned as owners but interested in the Customer lifecycle.

Filter by "traffic lights" Insight to allow you to focus on the various states of the customer, i.e., Risks, Opportunities, or Warnings. So you can still see the customer activity over time, but now it's filtered by what you want to focus on - see below for more.

Filter by Zengain "module" to allow you to focus on where they are in the lifecycle - this allows people with different roles to focus on closing a trial, onboarding, or growing the customer account.

Alerts (owner): This shows any customers that require owner data so that they can be sorted with the "My customers" toggle at the top of the dashboard, and the relevant owner can get email alerts, etc

Onboarding (% complete): This shows your onboarding progress. Here, we can see that the app. is connected and you are receiving data.

You can click on any element and drill down into the data behind it. Doing so will lead to a module dashboard page or specific data on a customer.

Insights Traffic Light Filters

You can filter the insights view by clicking on the elements to show All, Risks, Opportunities, and Warnings.

As the names suggest, these allow your team to focus their efforts on key areas easily.

Here is the insights dashboard filtered by warnings, for example

As you can see, the dashboard has a timeline, with your customers (companies) list by active days, and under the company is an insight about the general engagement or for specific users to allow you to easily drill down into what's happening and to take some action as required.

In this example, we can see the Company (customer) activity and the contacts (users) in that company listed by date.

Company/Customer Row

Clicking the Company row will open that "Customer" page within Zengain and provide details on that customer.

On this page, which will be discussed in detail at the module level later, you can examine the activities of their contacts (users) and use our ZenAgent to learn more about the customer.

With ZenAgent, you can get a quick overview or dig even deeper into your customer's details - a big time saver for the sales team. You can do the same for every contact too, allowing sales to use titles, activities, and background to offer a customized experience during a sale or ongoing relationship.

Below is the expanded version.

Contact Row

Clicking the "contact" row shows a dialog box with the details about that contact (user) and their activity over time with highlights.

When clicked, each row will go to the module, e.g., acquire or adopt, etc., to which the insight relates, and show very detailed insight data as to what has occurred relating to this insight on a contact basis.

  1. Star (Highlight decision makers): This selectable element allow the team to highlight in the UI important contacts.

  2. Title (Where captured): This shows the contact's title, which is very important in the sales process.

  3. Emails (Clickable): This shows the contact's email and allows sales to easily email the contact without leaving the UI. The email will use the standard methodology set up by the Company, i.e., it will launch the default email program, which is usually attached to the CRM to capture activity.

  4. Subscription and renewal data: Here is helpful data on the contact's subscription and when they renew. Again, this is very useful for the sales team.

  5. Highlights table: This displays the activity timeline, their active status, and key features they have used or not used. Very important for the sales and Cs teams.

  6. Health score (with indicative icon for the trend): This shows the daily/weekly/monthly activity levels with health score (colored bars). Rolling over a bar in the score shows their engagement score.

  7. Timeline (chooser): Daily/weekly/monthly activity levels.

  8. Activities timeline: This displays all the activities over time, with the associated activities.

  9. Specific activity: Rolling over an activity row shows more details on the element used.

  10. Key feature: Elements with a star are key features you are tackling. This highlights if/when they used an important feature.
