Zengain Signals and Contacts

The Zengain integration package contains a custom Lightning page zgcontactHTML on which Zengain signal data for a given Zengain customer and contact may be viewed in the context of the corresponding Salesforce account and contact. This page may be accessed by a Salesforce admin through the Object Manager > Contact > Lightning record pages.

Ensure that this is activated by clicking the zgcontactHTML label link on the Lightning Record Pages page, then the Edit button on the subsequent page, and finally the Activation and Save buttons on the next page. Clicking the Activation button enables you to specify where this Lightning page is used. For simplicity, here we assume it has been set as the Org Default.

You should now see this Lightning page displayed when you click a contact name link (e.g., in your Sales app). This will display signal data received from Zengain for the corresponding customer and contact.

Above the Contact Signals table is the Open Contact In Zengain button. Clicking this will open the Zengain page for that contact in a separate browser window, following Zengain login if required.

The Contact Signals table shows only the signals for this contact assigned to this account.

Each Zengain signal record displays the following information:

  • A 'traffic' light indicating the status of the record.

  • The name of the associated Zengain product

  • A description of the signal

  • The corresponding Zengain module, with possible values

          "Acquire",
          "Adopt",
          "Retain",
          "Grow",
          "Reactivate"
  • Customer Owners: Zengain users assigned as the Sales, Customer Success and Service Owners for this Zengain customer.

  • There is also a 'More Details in Zengain' button that links directly to the page in Zengain for this signal.
