Zengain Signals and Accounts

The Zengain integration package contains a custom Lightning page zgaccountHTML on which Zengain signal data for a given Zengain customer may be viewed in the context of the corresponding Salesforce account. This page may be accessed by a Salesforce admin through the Object Manager>Account>Lightning record pages.

Ensure that this is activated by clicking the zgaccounthtml label link on the Lightning Record Pages page, then the Edit button on the subsequent page, and finally the Activation and Save buttons on the next page. Clicking the Activation button page enables you to specify where this lighting page is used. For simplicity, here we assume it has been set as the Org Default.

You should now see this Lightning page displayed when you click an account name link e.g. in your Sales app. This will display signal data received from Zengain for the corresponding customer.

An example of how this appears is shown below, specifically in the Account Signals table.

Above the Account Signals table is the Open Customer In Zengain button. Clicking this will open the Zengain page for that customer in a separate browser window, following Zengain login if required.

Data in the Account Signals table is displayed in reverse-chronological order: the most recent records are shown at the top of the table.

Each Zengain signal record displays the following information:

  • A 'traffic' light indicating the status of the record.

  • The name of the associated Zengain product

  • A description of the signal, including a contact link where possible. Clicking this link will open the corresponding Contact page in Salesforce (see next page.)

  • The corresponding Zengain module, with possible values

          "Acquire",
          "Adopt",
          "Retain",
          "Grow",
          "Reactivate"
  • Customer Owners: Zengain users assigned as the Sales, Customer Success and Service Owners for this Zengain customer.

  • There is also a 'More Details in Zengain' button that links directly to the page in Zengain for this signal.
