User management with an iDP (by your end users)

When an IDP is integrated

All the admin can do with their end users directly in this use case is change the users role.

Changing a user's role (in the EUP)

  • First, your end-user admin navigates to the "Users" section in the EUP interface (once it has been enabled).

  • They select a user by clicking on the line in the list. Here we selected "Testforeup" user.

  • Next, click the "edit" button on the user record's top right.

  • Then, they only have two options:

    • User

    • Admin

  • Select one and click save.

  • In this example, they change from "admin" to "user" roles and will consequently lose some of their rights.

All other user functions are done at the iDP level for obvious reasons.

You can remove this user in the portal for managing your end users, remember this function is where your users manage each other.
