Admin functions with the End-User using the EUP
Comprehensive User Lifecycle Management
The extended EUP supports full user lifecycle operations tailored to enterprise admin workflows:
When no Identity Provider (IDP) is used:
Create, update, and delete users within the customer's account directly.
Import large numbers of users simultaneously via a CSV file for rapid onboarding.
When an IDP is integrated:
User creation occurs within the IDP system, which calls the Zentitle REST API to synchronize users with Zentitle.
User creation within the EUP is disabled to maintain security and consistency with the IDP.
User deletion in the portal removes EUP credentials without deleting the underlying contact record in Zentitle.
Complete contact deletion is managed through the Zentitle interface or API.
Real-Time Entitlement Assignment and Management
Enterprise admins can assign and remove entitlements directly to users within the portal, instantly reflecting changes across the Zentitle platform to ensure accurate and current access controls.
This enables administrators to dynamically allocate licenses and permissions as organizational needs change, without delays or administrative overhead.
Robust Audit and Security Controls for Compliance
All user management actions are logged comprehensively to provide an audit trail for compliance and traceability, giving security and governance teams peace of mind. Key safeguards include:
Controls to prevent the accidental removal of the last customer administrator, ensuring uninterrupted administrative access.
Role-based permissions to control who can perform sensitive user and entitlement operations.
ONLY Admin level permissions can operate any of these functions at the end user.
