• Accurate mapping required SKUs and entitlement definitions must align correctly between Salesforce and Zentitle to avoid mis-provisioning.

• Complex configuration Setting up credentials, OAuth flows, headers, and tenant IDs requires careful planning and testing, particularly when moving between sandbox and production.

• Permission setup Without the proper permission sets, Salesforce users won’t be able to access entitlement management features.

• Latency and timing Salesforce updates may take a while to appear in Zentitle, and vice versa. Teams should be aware of this slight delay.

• Error handling Failures from network issues or API errors must be logged and handled correctly, with mechanisms to retry or fix problems.

• Limitations of the sample package The integration covers core scenarios but may not meet every custom business need (such as complex upgrade/downgrade flows or bulk changes). Extensions may be required.

• Sandbox vs production Due to the sandbox override option, behavior differs between sandbox and production, so careful management during deployment is necessary.

• User adoption Teams will need training to understand how to use the Salesforce integration effectively, and when to rely on Zentitle directly.
