Business continuity and disaster recovery
Nalpeiron maintains a documented Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan ("BC DR Plan") throughout the Agreement term, including:
Emergency and contingency plans for facilities that process Customer data
Regular testing (results available to Customer upon request)
Operational Resilience Strategy
Nalpeiron's strategies for operational resilience adopt a holistic approach to the company and its business processes, taking into consideration the acceptable limits regarding the company's risk appetite and tolerance. These strategies are developed through:
Risk assessment: to identify internal and external threats to the company's ability to conduct business, particularly in the areas of technology, human resources, facilities, and third parties.
Vulnerability analysis: to identify weaknesses that could raise the level of operational disruption risk.
Business impact analysis: (a) to define mission-critical business processes, along with the technology, people, and facilities that enable them; and (b) to assess the potential effects on the company if those processes cannot be performed.
Multi-tenant posture
Nalpeiron hosts our infrastructure in a single AWS region (us-east-2, Ohio) for our multi-tenant customers.
Every service (web, API, integrations, etc.) and every part of the infrastructure (database servers, cache servers, etc.) is spread across three availability zones (separate data centers) in the region.
In the event of an AZ failure, other AZs will take over.
All the backups are stored in different regions.
In case of a whole region failure, we can restore the database and all services in a different region.

Single-tenant posture
Any customer can also have a single-tenant deployment, which can be located in any AWS region they choose, including Europe, China, or other US/worldwide locations.
Single-tenant customers can have a totally bespoke security, backup, and DR posture.
All the above automated DR features will be included to protect customer operations.
Single-tenant hosting allows you to manage all your data independently from our other customers. Some organizations prefer their data to be segregated this way. It also provides additional independence—for example, if you have any concerns about Nalpeiron's ongoing viability, we include in our standard single-tenant contract the ability for you to take over that instance if any unusual circumstances were to affect our organization.
Of course, even within that single-tenant environment, you continue to benefit from our TurboScale technology, which enables your instance to scale dynamically as you add more customers, products, and end-users.
