Key Stakeholders in a monetization project

We've worked with many software vendors over the years. In each engagement, we've identified several key stakeholders who must be involved in the project.
Typically, we start working with product management—the people responsible for an entire portfolio of applications. They take products to market, determine packaging and pricing, and develop strategies to sell capabilities to the user base. Product management is usually our first point of contact.
Engineering works closely with product management. As a full entitlement management platform, Zentitle provides powerful technology that integrates with your tech stack, abstracting go-to-market aspects from your underlying applications. This gives engineering the leverage to focus on building core functionality without getting mired in product marketing details. Engineering is key for implementing features that respond to the entitlement management system.
IT and Operations teams are essential back-office contributors who coordinate everything. Sales Operations, in particular, streamlines the quote-to-cash process, ensuring orders are fulfilled with the appropriate entitlements that customers can activate.
Finance and Legal also have significant interests in this space, as it forms the foundation for revenue recognition. Legal ensures compliance, and sometimes there's a dedicated compliance function to verify that customers adhere to license terms. The entitlement management system helps document, audit, and demonstrate this compliance.
From a customer-facing perspective, Support and Success teams rely heavily on the entitlement view of customer accounts. When addressing customer issues, they can access vital information, including user rights, usage history, and application access patterns, to provide the best possible support.
While these are our primary stakeholders, we often work with other areas like project management. We look forward to partnering with your team to make your entitlement management and software monetization project successful.
